| Оглавление | "Контрольная работа по английскому языку At the technical school I I study at a Gas industrial Technical school. I am a first year student. The academic year begins, as a rule, on the first of September and ends in June. It lasts ten months: September, October, November, December January, February, March, April, May and June. The academic year has two terms: the autumn term and the spring term. The autumn term begins in September and ends in December. The spring term begins in February and ends, as a rule, in May. This term is short, it lasts only three months . Each term ends with examinations. The examinations take place in January and in the end of May and in June. We have two holidays a year - winter holidays and summer holidays. The summer holidays are long. They last two months. The winter holidays are short. They last only a week. During the holidays we do not study we have a rest. Classes at our technical school begin at 8.30 in the morning. All students study some foreign language - English, German or French. We have one English class a week. When the teacher comes into the classroom we stand up and say ""Good morning"", if it is morning. Then we sit down and our work begins. We check our homework. We ask and answer questions, read English texts and translate sentences from Russian into English or from English into Russian. We describe pictures and speak on various topics. During the English class we read, speak and write English. I am very attentive in class and I always prepare my homework, because I want to learn to speak and to read English. English is not difficult for me, because I work at it regularly. Sometimes I prepare my lessons with my friends. We learn new words and do exercises. We ask each other questions and answer them. We also listen to the recorded tapes in the English language laboratory of our technical school At the end of each class the teacher gives us homework. II I am a first years student. While going along the endless corridors I meet a great number of students who like me come here to acquire knowledge. The technical school I go to is one of the biggest educational institutions of Novy Urengoi training specialists for various branches of gas industry. The technical school is 30 years old, in 2012 it celebrates its 30th’ anniversary. As many as 1000 students study there. Students from different schools of our town enter the five departments producing technicians in gas industry Its numerous laboratories for both teaching and research purposes are equipped with modern apparatus and instruments to provide a high level of training. On the ground floor there is a library which provides students with textbooks, dictionaries, literature on different subjects. Periodicals are at the disposal of students in the reading hall. 1. Выпишите из текстов (ч. I и II) существительные во множественном числе, напишите их форму единственного числа. 2. Выпишите из текста слова, имеющие окончание -s (-es). К предложению At the end of each class the teacher gives us homework напишите следующие вопросы: общий и 4 специальных, начинающихся со слов When, Who, Whom, What 7. Найдите в текста ( ч. 1 ) предложения с косвенными местоимениями, выпишите их, напишите соответствующие им личные местоимения и переведите предложения на русский язык. 8. Выпишите из текста предложения с притяжательными, местоимениями, напишите соответствующие притяжательным личные местоимения и переведите предложения на русский язык. 9. Найдите в тексте (ч.1 и ч.2) предложения с предлогами in, during, to, on, from, into, of, for и переведите эти предложения на русский язык. Определите, что обозначают эти педлоги. 10. Найдите в тексте предложения с порядковым числительным и напишите форму количественного числительного соответствующего этому порядковому. Напишите количественные и порядковые числительные от 1 до 10. 11. Ответьте на следующие вопросы 1. When does the academic year begin? 2. What term is short? 3. What does each term end with? 4.
